Oak Grove Plantation Guest Rooms
Our four guest rooms are large with sitting areas.
The Family Suite – Rate: $165 plus tax
The entire upstairs, features the “Family Suite” with beautiful landscape views of ancient oaks and flowers. It has two large bedrooms, a hallway and a sun-filled bathroom.
- Federalist Blue Room pictured with a four-posted rice bed (queen) and federalist fireplace with an electric insert and a comfortable seating area.
- Across the hall is the Thomas Day Room with an antique quilt on the wall and handmade rug on the floor (twin beds).
- This is not a dog-friendly room. You can bring your dog with you if you stay in the Library, the Tree House or the Cottage.

The Library – Rate: $130 plus tax
In the library room, book-lined shelves and an antique oak desk and lamp distinguish this first floor room. It has a view of oaks, flowers and greenery, and a door leading outside. There is a comfortable seating area and a queen bed with a handicapped accessible bath.
The Library Guest Room is handicapped accessible and dog-friendly, with a $25 pet fee.
The Tree House – Rate: $120 plus tax
Nestled in the beautiful trees at Oak Grove is a second-floor room we call the Tree House.
You’ll climb 19 outdoor steps to this scenic bedroom in the Cottage, built in 1850 as the doctor’s office for Pickett’s great-grandfather.
The Victorian-style oak bed sleeps two. The bed, which has a hand-made quilt, gives you a view out the windows and doors into the trees.
Note: the walls slope down from the center of the ceiling, which is 7-feet, 1 inch high. You may want to consider a different room if you are taller than 6 feet.

The 1850 Cottage – Rate: $205 – tax not included (Double Occupancy)
Entire cottage, complete with full kitchen, handicapped accessible bathroom, two bedrooms and a living room. Dog-friendly, with a $25 fee.
