Also, you can pick your own strawberries or buy them already picked at Reese’s Farm Fresh in Scottsburg. Strawberries Pancakes
Pickett's Strawberry Pancakes
3/4 c all-purpose flour
2 cups buttermilk
3/4c whole wheat flour
1 large egg
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teapoon baking soda
1 cup strawberries
3 tablespoons canola oil
Separately mix the dry and wet ingredients except the strawberries. Combine the dry and wet ingredients, leaving the mixture somewhat lumpy. Stir in the strawberries or add to each pancake while cooking. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake into a nonstick skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Serve warm. Makes 10 pancakes.
